EVENT REVIEW: 2000 Gatorade All Pro Series, NASCAR Touring Champion Billy Bigley Jr. got his year off to a solid start dominating the B & B Pools 200 to secure his second win of 2000. Bigley also secured his first Bud Pole Award of 2000. Bigley held off a number of early race cautions and went the distance without making a pit stop. That left the rest of the field challenging each other for finishing positions. Ironically a driver very familiar with Greenville-Pickens Speedway, Toby Porter, brought out the first race caution on lap one after starting outside front row. When racing resumed A. J. Frank, Randy Gentry, Steven Howard and others settled in position behind Bigley. At the half-way mark 16 cars were on the lead lap with with only four cars eventually ending up on the lead lap.
