Chris Fontaine took a 24th place finish in the NASCAR All Pro Myrtle Beach 320 last Saturday night after the Discount Auto Parts/Suntrust #46 Monte Carlo encountered engine problems. Chris was able to run 21 laps and gain two positions over his 26th place start before retiring for the evening.
The finish was enough to keep Chris in the 24th spot in the 2001 NASCAR All Pro points race.
The next race for the CJF Racing team will be the NASCAR All Pro race at Kentucky Motor Speedway on August 11.
Prior to the Myrtle Beach 320 on July 14, the NASCAR Café located on Hwy 17-A By-Pass in Myrtle Beach hosted Gatorade All Pro Series, NASCAR Touring drivers with an autograph session from 5:00 - 7:00 pm on Friday, July 13. Chris appeared and signed autographs along with other drivers.
