Chris Fontaine moved up two spots to 21st of 60 in the 2001 NASCAR All Pro points with a 25th place finish out of 41 starters at Bristol Motor Speedway last Wednesday evening in the Charter Communications 250.

Chris started the Discount Auto Parts/SunTrust #46 in the 28th spot but had to go out after 113 laps because of an oil leak.

CJF Racing Team Manager Moe Sawyer said," it was a great experience and we look forward to going back."

Chris said,"it takes your breath away. When you go in the corner you can feel yourself sink in the seat."

Chris got up into the teens before feeling a vibration and had to pit about lap 75. The team changed a wheel and fueled the car solving the problem and sent Chris back out.

Chris had just caught the pack when the vibration came back. When Chris pitted again to change a wheel the NASCAR officials saw an oil leak on the car and Chris had to retire for the evening.

The NASCAR Busch series cars and the NASCAR Winston Cup teams were also in Bristol for their races on the weekend.

The next event for the Gatorade All Pro Series, NASCAR Touring will be the Louisville 250 on September 8 at Louisville (KY) Motor Speedway.
