Portland, OR. Officials for Portland Speedway have postponed the NASCAR Friday "Bud Bowl" "True Value Night at the Races" event scheduled for tonight (June 1) until next Friday, June 8 due to continued rain and a forecast for the same. The wet weather and high humidity has hampered track preparation efforts today, and would have caused a "Mud Bowl"

Portland Speedway-"The Dirt Track" will present the NASCAR Friday "Bud Bowl" Bud Retail Night at the Races next Friday, June 8 featuring the NASCAR Weekly Racing Series Grand American Modifieds, Shortrack Sportsman, Street Stocks, and Bumpin' Bombers on the new third-mile clay oval track. Plus, the all-female WAR! division for Women's Auto Racing, competing in Street Stock and Sportsman Stock Cars. Spectator gates will open at 5 PM, qualifying heats start at 6:45 PM, with main event racing to follow.
