Portland, OR. Officials for Portland Speedway have postponed the NASCAR Friday "Bud Bowl" event scheduled for tonight until Friday, April 27 due to continued rain and a forecast for the same. The wet weather and high humidity has hampered track preparation efforts today.

Portland Speedway-"The Dirt Track" will present "Donate Life Night" at the races next Friday, April 27 with the NASCAR Weekly Racing Series Grand American Modifieds, Shortrack Sportsman, Street Stocks, Bumpin' Bombers on the new third-mile clay oval track, plus the Figure 8 cars on the criss-crossing clay and asphalt track. Spectator gates will open at 5 PM, qualifying heats start at 6:45 PM, with racing to follow.

Portland Speedway is one of more than 90 tracks nationwide whose racers compete in the prestigious NASCAR Weekly Racing Series where local drivers can challenge for local, regional, and national championships.
