Raybestos Brakes Northwest Series, NASCAR Touring: Ron Eaton, the three-time Series champion, became the oldest winner in Series history when he captured the Pepsi 125 at South Sound Speedway in Tenino, Wash. The 57-year-old Eaton extended a record he already held. It was his 39th Series win.

Eaton started 10th and led only the last 15 laps. The win left him with the championship points standings lead.

Chris Hart finished second in the race, two seconds behind the winner. Rookies John Bender and Troy Conrad finished third and fourth, respectively, and Pete Harding was fifth. Harding is now second in the standings.

Ken Kaltschmidt won the Bud Pole Award with a record run of 13.621 seconds (92.504 mph) around the 0.350-mile facility.

One special note: Joe Benedetti, who won the Gatorade Front Runner Award and finished sixth, listed Happy Mothers Day as his sponsor.
