** Raybestos Brakes Northwest Series, NASCAR Touring: Ron Eaton won his 41st career victory in the Budweiser 125 at Wenatchee Valley's Super Oval in Wenatchee, Wash. Eaton's experience, and his faith in his Goodyear tires, were the keys to winning.

An early-race incident bowed up Eaton's hood, making vision difficult. Then, in the final stages of the race, Series points leader Kevin Hamlin put pressure on Eaton.

"This tire here, you could lean on," Eaton said. "The more you leaned on it, the faster it got."

Hamlin said, "Ron being around as long as he has, he just never screws up."

Hamlin finished second, .06 of a second behind the winner. Joe Benedetti was third, Shane Biles took fourth and Pete Harding finished fifth.

Hamlin leads the standings with 1,116 points. He is bidding to become the Series' youngest champion. Eaton, second in points with 1,062, is trying to become the oldest.

Garrett Evans won the Bud Pole Award with a lap averaging 71.759 mph around the quarter-mile track.
