Australian racer Tommy Gasperak working towards a career in NASCAR
15-year-old Tommy Gasperak has enjoyed great success in karting over in Australia, but his aspirations go far beyond that.
The young racer hopes to make a name for himself in America. With NASCAR approval, he has his sights set on climbing the the stock car racing ladder.
To prepare for his foray into stock car racing, Gasperak has been running late models over the summer to get better prepared to take on NASCAR. He plans to make his debut in the K&N Pro East Series in the 2018 season-opener at New Smyrna with Roo Motorsports.
Gasperak has over 70 podiums and pole so far in his karting career. Among his many accomplishments, Gasperak was crowned the 2016 Rotax Pro Tour Queensland State Champion. And at the age of 14, he became the youngest licensed KZ2 karting driver.
