Late Models to run twin mains at Las Vegas

LAS VEGAS - The Bullring at Las Vegas Motor Speedway will host Port of Subs Night at the Races Saturday night featuring twin main events in the NASCAR Late Model division. E.T. Bracket racing and Junior Dragsters return to The Strip this weekend as well.

The NASCAR Late Models will compete in two 25-lap main events. After Saturday night, drivers will have only Sept. 9 to earn NASCAR Weekly Racing Series points. Track points continue until Oct. 7. Grand American Modifieds, Hitchin' Post/Exiss Legends, Chargers, Mini Stocks and Bandoleros also will compete for points.

Gates open at 5 p.m., and races start at 7. Admission is $8 for adults, $6 for seniors and military and $2 for children 6-12. Children five and under are free. Stockyard tailgate area admission is $25.

The Strip will host Friday Night drags, which consist of High School and Import races and a test-n-tune. Saturday night action will heat up with a non-points event for the Summit Racing E.T. Bracket Series Presented by National Performance Center and Junior Dragsters.

Admission is $8 for adults, $6 for seniors and military and $2 for children 6-12. Children five and under are free.

Entry fee for test-n-tune is $15 for car and driver, $10 for competing high-school students with ID. Entry fee for bracket racers is $50 for Pro and Super Quick, $40 for Sportsman and Motorcycle, $25 for Street and $10 for staging lanes and tower access.
