Busch, a Las Vegas resident, will return to the Super Late Model division after a one-year hiatus from the division. Busch spent the 2002 season competing in the American Speed Association. Busch is scheduled to run selected ARCA and NASCAR Busch Series events for Hendrick later this season. For the showdown, Busch will pilot the No. 4 Super Late Model owned by 2000 Sunbelt Regional champion Dick Cobb.
"This will probably be my last event run at the Bullring," said Busch, whose older brother Kurt will compete in the UAW-DaimlerChrysler 400 NASCAR Winston Cup event at LVMS on Sunday, March 2. "I would like to make a prestigious show and try for the victory. There are a few people from Hendrick coming down to watch. Hopefully, I can make it an exciting night for them."
The showdown will kick off the NASCAR weekend and include a 100-lap Super Late Model feature, 30-lap IMCA Modified race and two 20-lap Legends Cars races.
Spectator gates open at 6 p.m. Qualifying is set for 6:30 with racing at 7:15.
