NASCAR 4 in 1 Show

Jeff Ganus from Constantine, MI drove the TN Trailers, McBride Drywall #5 to his 2nd Wayland Chevrolet Super Late Model feature win of the season Saturday evening at Kalamazoo Speedway.

Curt Spalding jumped out to the early lead only to see it short-lived when the rear-end broke on his machine on lap 2. Ganus inherited the lead and went on to victory holding off Dan McEndarfer and Steve Needles for the win. Rick Sexton pitted on lap 28 for a flat tire and came back to salvage an 11th place finish. Jerry Drake exited on lap 35 while running in the 5th position. Point leader Andy Bozell finished 4th with Dave Lober 5th (from 12th starting spot). 6th was Phil Bozell followed by Todd Harrington, Greg Himes, Eric McGlothlen and Ryan Wheeler. Heat wins went to Andy Bozell and Sexton.

Kyle VanSparrentak drove to his 3rd feature win of the season in the 35 lap Best Way Disposal Limited Late Model main event. VanSparrentak and 2nd place finisher Brian Bergakker held off the challenges of Brandon Lyons. Jason Holibaugh was 4th with Michelle Sexton 5th. Completing the top 10 were Matt Krywosinski, Kenny Head, Tom Rutherford, Rod Brown and Mike Brooks. LLM heat winners were Lyons, Krywosinski and Jim Hunderman. Jason Simpson won the B feature.

Dale McGhan from Battle Creek shook off early season problems to capture his 1st E & D''s High Performance Sport Stocks 25 lap feature win of the season. Bryan VanZile was 2nd with Mark Horton 3rd, Trent Hellenga 4th and Travis Hall 5th. John TerMeer was 6th followed by Courtney Weston, Al Webber, Ben Raber and Todd Foote. Heat wins went to VanZile and McGhan.

Butch Glass from Martin scored his 8th Home Depot Pure Stocks 25 lap feature win of the season. Matt Noble continues to look impressive with his 2nd place finish. Bob Livingston was 3rd, Greg Haynes 4th and Lloyd Brooks 5th. 6-10 were Jimmy Wheaton, Brad Shellenbarger, Mark Fliearman, Andy Bozell, Jr., and Harold Lock. Pure Stocks heat winners were Brooks and Livingston.

Coming up this Saturday, Aug. 20 will be the return of the Auto Value Super Sprints along with the Super Late Models, Sport Stocks and Pure Stocks. The Limited Late Models will have the night off. Racing at 7 PM!
