With the race’s 200 miles completed but caution on the track, the Goody’s Dash Series AC Delco 200 Presented by Discount Auto Parts was set for a Green-White-Checkered Flag start on Lap 81. Justin Hobgood took the green flag on Lap 81 and held off a tremendous charge by pole-sitter Derrick Kelley and Tim Nichols at Daytona International Speedway.

Hobgood, who started in the third position, took the checkered flag and headed into Victory Lane with his No. 65 Precision Engine/Hampton Inn Oceanside Pontiac. Hobgood ran out front much of the night with his older brother, Jake Hobgood, in the No. 64 Pontiac.

With the win, Justin Hobgood took home $11,710.

Kelley finished second in the No. 07 Discount Auto Parts Pontiac and Nichols made a tremendous move in the trioval to place third in the No. 52 Old Milwaukee/John Boy & Billy Pontiac.

Rounding out the top five were: Scott Weaver in the No. 2 Weaver Race Cars Pontiac and B.J. Mackey in the Van Camps Pontiac.

Robert Huffman placed sixth, the highest finish in a Toyota. The average speed of the race was 113.319 mph with a margin of victory of .187 seconds. There were seven caution flags for a total of 31 laps and there were six lead changes among six drivers. The time of the race was 1 hour, 49 minutes and 52 seconds. The race finished under the lights.
