The Richmond Times-Dispatch 150 will be held "under the lights" at 8:00 p.m. as part of an open-wheel tripleheader weekend that will also include the inaugural appearance of the Indy Racing Northern Light Series.
"This is a great partnership for Richmond International Raceway," said Doug Fritz, president of Richmond International Raceway. "We have always enjoyed working with the Richmond Times-Dispatch and this sponsorship helps strengthen our relationship with the paper while also benefiting our fans."
The Richmond Times-Dispatch will offer once-in-a lifetime contest opportunities, including waving the green flag, giving the command to start engines and acting as grand marshal. Special promotional offers for race tickets and contest entry forms will appear in the Richmond Times-Dispatch and on www.timesdispatch.com starting today.
The paper will also insert free, two-sided, color posters in its Friday, June 29 and Saturday, June 30 editions.
