WATERBURY, CT. LesCare Kitchens, Inc.'s two entries in this weekend's New Hampshire International Speedway's tripleheader were with high hopes. Their two NHIS winning drivers, Reggie Ruggiero in the #2 Featherlite Modified and Ted Christopher in the #13 Busch North Series, were happy with their cars' runs in practice and the Featherlite Modified Series rainout put Reggie Ruggiero who was second in points on the outside pole and Ted Christopher in fifth. Thursday's Busch North Series qualifying went well for Ted who qualified on the outside pole also. In addition over 100 quests were treated to lunch, gifts, and an autograph session with a special appearance by Randy LaJoie, car owner of the #13 Busch North Series car, and tickets to the grandstands via LesCare's hospitality tent.

With the modified race, Ted took the lead for most of the laps with Reggie horsepowering up and down in the top ten for most of the race. When it looked like Ted had the push on leader Mike Ewanitsko with less then 10 laps to go, T.C. faded somewhat while Reggie turned up the heat. Reggie finished second and Ted sixth. The second place finish also put Reggie seven points in the lead for the Featherlite Modified Championship with only three races remaining for the season.

The Busch North Series race had Ted sitting pretty on the outside pole with an in-car camera. The race started, the yellow flag came out and it was the #13 crashed in the wall that caused it. Ted reported that another driver squeezed him into a 3 wide option and made contact with him. It ended the day with a potential win for the LesCare Kitchen's 13 and disappointment for everyone.

One race remains for the LesCare Kitchens/LaJoie team at Lime Rock Raceway in Connecticut on October 14th.
