EVENT REVIEW: Robert Huffman had another strong showing in the Coastal Carolina Freightliner 125 recording his fifth career win of the '98 season. Starting third, Huffman found the bottom groove on the racetrack to his liking and quickly moved around the second place car of Ricky Bryant taking the lead from polesitter Jake Hobgood on lap 11. When Huffman went to the front, the cars of Bryant and Hobgood rubbed resulting in a flat tire on Hobgood's machine costing him two laps in the pits. Bryant eventually had problems with his car ending the night four laps off the pace. Towards the end of the race Huffman had opened a seven second lead on the second place car of David Hutto.
