LOGANO WINS NASCAR BUSCH EAST RACE AT NHIS

LOUDON, N.H. (Sept. 14, 2007) -- Joey Logano bested a big field and won the Aubuchon Hardware 125 race for the NASCAR Grand National Division Busch East Series at New Hampshire International Speedway.

The Busch East Series shared the track with the stars of the NASCAR Nextel Cup Series and NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series. Goodyear is the exclusive tire supplier for all three series, but the Grand National Division, which also includes the West Series, races on bias-ply tires. The other two series race on Goodyear Eagle radial racing tires.

Logano averaged 103.030 mph for the 125-lap race on the mile oval. Sean Caisse finished second, .544 of a second behind the winner. Pole sitter Rogelio Lopez finished third, followed by Peyton Sellers and Jamie Hayes, who started 21st.

Lopez' pole winning speed was 124.674 mph.

Logano did not take the lead for good until he passed Mark McFarland with ten laps remaining. The highly entertaining race featured 10 lead changes. The 41-car starting field included drivers representing 17 states and three nations.
