SELLERS BOUNCES, PITS, WINS NASCAR CAMPING WORLD SERIES EAST OPENER

GREENVILLE, S.C. (April 21, 2008) -- A little thing like a bounce off a retaining wall wasn't enough to stop Peyton Sellers from winning the An American Revolution 150 at Greenville-Pickens Speedway. The race was the season opener for the NASCAR Camping World Series East.

Sellers led the first 30 laps and was running second when his car hit the outside wall in turn one during the 59th lap of the 150-lap chase. Quick pit work allowed him to rejoin the race on the lead lap but in 22nd place. He charged back toward the front and finally retook the lead on the 128th circuit around the half-mile oval. He was not headed again.

Goodyear is the exclusive tire supplier for the Camping World Series, both the East and West divisions. The NASCAR Canadian Tire Series uses the same line of Goodyear bias-ply tires. The tires are manufactured in Goodyear's Akron, Ohio race tire facility.

Austin Dillon finished second, .844 of a second behind the winner. Marc Davis was third, followed by Ben Stancill and Eddie MacDonald.

Sellers averaged 54.355 mph during the race. He also won the pole position with a qualifying lap averaging 86.948 mph.
