This is the final 5 p.m. starting time event. Featured will be NASCAR Modifieds, Late Models and Sportsman stock cars. At least 13 events. Youngsters 11 and under are admitted free. Free parking on grounds of speedway. Saturday, May 1, 7:30 p.m. Back to regular starting time for the season. NASCAR Modifieds and NASCAR Late Models. Regular admission price for adults is $10.00, youngsters 6 through 11, $3.00 and under 6 FREE with paying adult. FIRST 300 FANS AT GRANDVIEW SPEEDWAY TO GET FREE HATS

BECHTELSVILLE, PA APRIL 18, 1999 . . . The first 300 fans entering the main gate at Grandview Speedway (Bechtelsville, PA) on Saturday, April 24, will receive a free hat courtesy of Bob Hilbert Sportswear/Grandview Speedway. The final tripleheader racing show, featuring the NASCAR Modifieds, Late Models, and Sportsman, will get the green flag at 5 p.m. Bob Hilbert Sportswear will also have their traveling display unit on the grounds to show off what is new in auto racing sportswear. In addition the Boyertown based company will have a number of prizes to give away to fans in the stands. Again this Saturday (April 24) it is expected that more than 100 stock cars will fill the competition area with NASCAR Modifieds headlining the show and topping the action with a 29 car, 30 lap feature event that pays $2,200 to win. Fans will also be treated to a full show of NASCAR Late Model and Pennsylvania Sportsman racing which will include qualifying heats and features. The Saturday evening show will also be Family Night with youngsters 11 and under being admitted free. On Saturday, May 1, starting time will switch to 7:30 p.m. for the balance of the season and it will be doubleheader racing featuring the NASCAR Modifieds and Late Models. Coming up on Wednesday, May 5, 7:30 p.m. will be a special mid-week Philadelphia Daily News/NAPA Auto Parts Thunder on the Hill sprint car doubleheader. Featured will be the All Star Circuit of Champions sprint cars along with KARS 358 sprint cars. This will be the first of five special Thunder Series events presented at Grandview Speedway and promoted by Bob Miller/ Bruce Rogers. On Saturday, May 8, Black Horse Auto Body of Norristown, PA will sponsor the NASCAR night of racing featuring at least 13 events of NASCAR Modified and Late Model stock car racing. The modifieds and late models will be featured each Saturday through the month of May. And on Saturday, May 22, Luciana Kitchen and Bathrooms will sponsor the night.
