WATERBURY, CT. LesCare Kitchens, Inc., longtime sponsor of many NASCAR teams, is excited about the upcoming Featherlite Modified Series and Busch North Series races at New Hampshire International Speedway on September 16th. Both of LesCare's drivers, Ted Christopher and Reggie Ruggiero are feature winners and have many top five finishes at NHIS. In addition to backing its drivers on the track, LesCare Kitchens is hosting a hospitality tent for its distributors, clients, and business associates with a special autograph appearance by Ted and Reggie. LesCare is pulling out all the stops with this race and will entertain its guests with an all day affair including TV monitors in the hospitality tent and have signed on with World Sports for an in-car camera in the Busch North Series #13 car.
LesCare Kitchens' 2000 motorsports program includes a 7 race deal with Randy LaJoie's #13 Busch North car and Michael Waltrip's #7 Busch Series car. The 9/16 race at NHIS is the 6th with Lime Rock Raceway in Connecticut in October wrapping up their season. The Busch North Series team garnished one victory this season at Stafford Motor Speedway. Ted's record at NHIS includes: 3 feature wins in 1996, 1997 and 1998 including the Busch Pole Award in 1997 in the Busch North Series. In the Featherlite Modified Series,
Ted captured a 2nd, 3rd, and 4th in 1999, 5th in 1998, 5th in 1997, and 4th in 1994. Ted came in second in points for the New Hampshire International Speedway Championship in 1999. For the year 2000, besides his BSN feature win, Ted "the Terminator" Christopher is having the best year of his career racing modifieds starting with a championship at New Smyrna Florida with 6 wins out of 8 races, 2 feature wins (Watkins Glen and Thompson), 5 top five's and 8 top 10's and 1 Busch Pole Award in the Featherlite Modified Series. He just won his 50th career win at Stafford Motor Speedway expanding his lead for most won races by 12. He also has several feature wins at various tracks in the Winston Racing Series. Reggie Ruggiero, with his partner Tony Moffo, will take the #2 LesCare Kitchens modified car on the track determined to win the last race of the season at NHIS. Reggie is one of the winningest modified drivers with an impressive NHIS record. In 1999 h3 placed 4th and 5th, 1998 he recorded 2 seconds and a third, 1997 a 2nd, 1996 a 2nd, 1994 a feature win, 2 seconds, and a fourth, 1993 2 feature wins, 1992 2 feature wins and a third. "The Reg" also captured the 1998 points championship at New Hampshire International Speedway. In the year 2000 Reggie has one feature win, 9 top fives and 11 top 10's with a second place point standing in the Featherlite Modified Series.
