Bryan Ortiz Selected to Attend NASCAR's Drive for Diversity Combine
First Puerto Rican in History to Receive Invitation

Mooresville, NC (September 15, 2010) ... Revolution Racing, LLC of Mooresville, North Carolina announced today that Bryan Ortiz has been selected to attend the NASCAR Drive for Diversity Combine presented by Sunoco on October 17-19, 2010 in Charlotte, North Carolina. Ortiz was selected for the Drive for Diversity Combine by a group of NASCAR-industry executives and experts. The 21-year old is the first Puerto Rican driver to receive an invitation to participate in the combine.

"This year's Combine class is without question the strongest in the eight-year history of the program," John Story, President and Co-Owner of Revolution Racing, LLC stated. "All attendees have relevant on-track experience and we are confident that the 10 drivers selected for 2011 from the Combine class will represent the most successful season in the history of the Drive for Diversity program."

The Drive for Diversity Combine presented by Sunoco is a three-day comprehensive test where 10 drivers will be selected from the invited group to compete under the Revolution Racing banner in one of six NASCAR Whelen All-American Series or for NASCAR K&N Series East teams in 2011. Various tests and evaluations will be conducted during the three-day combine including a physical fitness assessment, personality profiles, media training, and on-track driving abilities.

Bryan Ortiz has a varied and successful racing background which led to his selection. Ortiz began competitive racing in 2002 and won the Yamaha Junior Karting Championship and Rookie-of-the-Year in his first season. He was the Tag Light Karting Champ and Rookie-of-the-Year in'03 and was a Two-time Formula Renault Champion in '04 and '05. Ortiz competed and won various awards in the Rolex Grand-Am and Koni Challenge Series prior to signing as the Development Driver for Sterling Marlin in 2009. The talent Puerto Rican has raced in the Sunoco National Tour Series (formerly ASA Late Model Series) in 2010 and currently leads the Rookie-of-the-Year standings and sits second in overall Championship points with two races remaining on the schedule.

The San Juan, Puerto Rico native is in his fourth year at the University of Puerto Rico majoring in Business and Entrepreneur. He was featured on the cover of the March, 2010 ESPN Deportes La Revista magazine.

"Bryan (Ortiz) is an extremely talented driver and has done exceptionally well in our program," NASCAR legend and Two-time Daytona 500 Champion Sterling Marlin added. "We congratulate Bryan on his invitation to compete in the Drive for Diversity Combine."
