BURNHAM BOILERS 150 PRACTICE QUOTES
JERRY MARQUIS (#15 Ski-Doo O'Connor GMC Chevrolet) -- We're working on an oil leak here. Hopefully we'll get it straightened out here before tomorrow. It's a good thing we practiced today, we were kind of debating whether we should or not. We just decided to break in a new set of brakes, and were working on that and we found this deal. We planned on this last night. We decided if we were going to do that, we're going to try to break them in a little bit, because I'd hate to just start that first lap and not have a good peddle going, especially when you come down to that 90. We don't really have a special strategy for tomorrow, we're just going to take it one step at a time and try to stay in the top ten throughout the race, and hopefully give it all we've got towards the end of the race. We're basicly going to stop for fuel and not take tires on because our tire wear is going real well. We should only need one pit stop.
ERIC BODINE (#21 Bully Hill Vineyards) -- We didn't get much time yesterday and it's a brand new car. It worked out pretty good. We made some minor changes and it's looking pretty good in this last practice session and we're on old tires. Realistically, with a brand new car and not testing it, we were looking for a top 20 (qualifying run) and we're 16th so we're happy with that. We think there's a little bit more in it. Sometimes you get to a track and that's all you can get out of it, but this car's got some left in it.
MIKE STEFANIK (#51 Burnham Boilers Chevrolet) -- We're really excited to be here for our sponsor. It's their race and we really want to win it for them. We got a hole in our radiator somehow. We must of kicked up a stone or something and that put a whole in it so we have to replace that. The engine had a misfire in it, so we don't know what's going on there. We're going to have to get to the bottom of that. I don't know, it doesn't seem like today has gone as smooth as we would have liked it to. But it's a long race, and we're on the pole so the key is going to be consistent and to take it easy. Of course the key to the race is not to make anym mistakes. We got a good car and a good team so hopefully we'll be okay.
KAT TEASDALE (#94 Katko Motorsports Chevrolet) -- We've kind of done onepercent of our job so far. We're happy to be on the grid. That's cool and we're looking forwrad to running good tomorrow. We just finished our last practice session and the car was running a little hot. We got our K-Tac engine guy over here so we'll have to go talk to him a little bit and see what we can get for tomorrow. It's a long enough race so twe'll have to pace ourselves and make sure we're strong and let anybody get away. We'll just have to pace ourselves because there'll be at least one pit stop, take on fuel and all. Hopefully that'll go well and we'll be able to get in and out without getting lapped. We're looking forward to it and running a nice consistent race.
