Inclement Weather Again Stops Trim Spa 150 Busch North Series Finale at Wall Township Speedway, Event Will Not Be Rescheduled

WALL, N.J. - For the second time in as many attempts, inclement weather again halted all efforts to run the NASCAR Grand National Division, Busch North Series season-ending Trim Spa 150 at Wall Township Speedway on Saturday. As was the case two weeks ago, a storm front moved in durng afternoon practice and showers lingered for the remainder of the day. The Trim Spa 150 will not be rescheduled, bringing the Busch North Series regular season to an end.

The loss of the Trim Spa 150 had no effect on the destination of the Busch North Series championship, which was clinched by Andy Santerre at Dover (Del.) International Speedway in September. Saturday's most important outcome was to finalize the top 15 drivers who will receive guaranteed invitations to the second annual NASCAR Toyota All-Star Showdown at Irwindale (Calif.) Speedway, November 11-13. Jamie Aube, the three-time series champion who returned to full-time action in 2004, held onto the 15th and final spot on the Busch North Series squad which will seek to repeat its team championship over the NASCAR Grand National Division, West Series, and to bring the individual title to the east coast as well.
