WATERBURY, CT. Ted Christopher is fresh off a feature win at the last Busch North Series event at Stafford Motor Speedway's Carquest 150. Add that to the fact that he won in the BNS series in 1998, 1997, and 1996 at New Hampshire International Speedway and his chances are better than average on capturing a second in a row in.

Ted will be driving the brand new #13 Chevy Monte Carlo built by car owner, Randy LaJoie and sponsored by LesCare Kitchens, Inc. this Saturday, July 8th following his entry on Friday in the Featherlite Modified Series event in his own #13 modified.

"I love this track. I've raced pretty well at it in both the Busch and Featherlite Modified Series events. The Busch car was hooked up so good at Stafford last week that we didn't even pit. Let's hope that good luck and this great car will stay with me for this weekend," said Christopher.

"This is a brand new venture for me, owning my Busch north team and I knew we had potential between Ted's driving skills, the car, the crew, and the experience we all have behind it. The only let down was that I was on vacation last week and couldn't be at the race. My mom and dad were there to share the glory, so that was pretty great," said Randy LaJoie.

This is the third of seven planned races with the Randy LaJoie team. They will be running at Stafford again on July 28th, Watkins Glen on August 12th, NHIS on September 16th, and Lime Rock Park on October 14th.

Team sponsor is LesCare Kitchens, Inc. Associate sponsors also include Formica Corporation and Allen Engineering.
