Busch North Series, NASCAR Touring: Dale Shaw won his 19th career Series victory, his first of 2002, when he captured the NASCAR 150 at Stafford Motor Speedway in Stafford Springs, Conn. Shaw's victory came in a race that saw seven leads changes among five drivers.

Goodyear is the only tire provider for this Series.

Matt Kobyluck finished second, .60 of a second behind the winner. Tracy Gordon was third, Dale Quarterly took fourth and Dave Dion rounded out the top five.

Martin Truex won the Bud Pole Award, averaging 90.996 mph on his qualifying run around the half-mile track. The race winner averaged 65.230 mph.
