Busch North Series (NASCAR Touring):

Andy Santerre won the Series championship and Denny Doyle won the race as the final race of the season provided plenty of drama. The Burnham Boilers 200 was held at Lime Rock Park in Lakeville, Conn.

Santerre finished 14th in the race, but it was enough to edge Matt Kobyluck by nine points in the battle for the championship. Kobyluck finished sixth in the race, three positions short of the championship.

Doyle’s victory was his first in 117 starts. His margin of victory over Bryon Chew was just .466 of a second. The winner averaged 55.080 mph around the 1.53-mile road course.

Brad Leighton finished third in the race and in the standings, Paul Wolfe was fourth in the race and Greg Schaefer was fifth in the race.

Goodyear is the sole tire provider for this Series.
