NASCAR GRAND NATIONAL DIVISION, BUSCH EAST SERIES CREW CHIEF DAVID McCLURE FINED FOR RULE VIOLATIONS AT HOLLAND

DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. (June 30, 2006) -- NASCAR Grand National Division, Busch East Series crew chief David McClure has been penalized by NASCAR for rule violations in the June 24 event at Holland (N.Y.) International Speedway.

McClure, crew chief on the No. 10 Chevrolet driven by Pierre Bourque, was fined $100 for violating section 12-4-A of the 2006 NASCAR Rule Book: actions detrimental to stock car racing; section 12-4-Q: any determination by NASCAR officials that the car, car parts, components, and/or equipment used in the event do not conform to NASCAR rules; and section 20C-10.6C: unapproved axle, hollow.
