Goody's Dash Series NASCAR Touring driver, Arlene Pittman and her #7 "Pink Fire" put the "Tour" in Touring in Pittsburgh.

PITTSBURGH, PA (September 6-13) Arlene Pittman of the Goody's Dash Series NASCAR Touring will be making her way through town to promote Pittsburgh's first ever Goody's Dash Series event which will be held at the Motordrome Speedway in Smithton on Friday September 13.

Friday, September 6 * Arlene will make her debut at the Motordrome Speedway where both she and her #7 "Pink Fire" Pontiac will be on display.

Tuesday, September 10 * QUAKER STEAK & LUBE in Cranberry will be hosting a driver appearance for Arlene Pittman from 2:00 - 6:00 p.m. The public is invited to the "All you can eat" wing night and to come and check out "Pink Fire" and learn about racing from an accomplished racer with 17 years experience. Wednesday, September 11, * No doubt it will be a day of memorials and memories of the tragic events that took place a year ago. Arlene Pittman will be at Children's Hospital in Pittsburgh where she will deliver a message of encouragement and hope to the patients and their parents and leave them some special gifts courtesy of the Dollar Wave in Gibsonia.

Thursday, September 12 * Pittman's last duty before she takes to the track will be another driver appearance hosted by The Mall at Robinson from 6:00 -8:00 p.m. Arlene will sign autographs and show off her #7 Pontiac Sunfire. The Mall at Robinson is located on route 60 and Rt.22/30 on Robinson Centre Drive, just 5 miles south of Pittsburgh International Airport.

Arlene Pittman is currently 15th in points in a field of 68 drivers. She uses her bright pink #7 "Pink Fire" car to encourage and inspire fans, especially children. She is an avid volunteer and former United Way chairperson.
