DAYTONA BEACH, FL (July 9, 2002) - Angie Wilson announced that she will return to the Goody's Dash Series, NASCAR Touring to compete in the upcoming event at Greenville-Pickens Speedway Saturday, July 13th.

Wilson has entered several races in the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series in 2002. She plans to run at least three more Truck races this year. She plans to contend for the Rookie of the Year title in 2003.

Her plans also include as many Goody's Dash Series events as sponsorship will allow. Jim Cook's Car Dealership will sponsor her at Greenville-Pickens. "Obviously sponsorship plays a big role in when and where we get to race," commented Wilson.

"Having the opportunity to compete in the Truck Series has given me valuable experience. The trucks are much heavier than the Goody's Dash cars, and they have a lot more horsepower. The races are longer making race strategy and endurance an even great factor in the how well a driver performs," said Wilson.

Wilson also said, "I am very excited about getting to run in the Goody's Dash Series at Greenville. It is very competitive and I miss all of my friends."
