Angela Motorsports Founder On the Run

In what seems more like America's Most Wanted, rather that This Week in NASCAR. A warrant has been issued in Waco Texas for the arrest of Angela Harkness, the principal of the now defunct Angela's Motorsports.
Late in 2002, Harkness burst onto the NASCAR scene fielding cars at the fall Busch race in Atlanta while announcing full time plans for 2003 with driver Mike McLaughlin, and crew chief Harold Holly.
Prior to the seasons opener in Daytona the team fell apart as checks began to bounce, leaving several of the team's members holding the bag. McLaughlin, Holly, and several other employees and suppliers realized the team never had the backing or resources needed to make the operation work. The Team managed to run at Daytona, but then Robert Yates stepped in to re-claim his equipment, selling it Jay Robinson, and the team permanently closed.
During that time Harkness all but disappeared, and never publicly addressing what had happened to the organization.
The story behind the time became more apparent, as last year, the teams other principal Gary Jones was indicted for bank fraud. It is alleged that Jones and Harkness financed there racing operations through embezzled funds from the Wells Fargo Corporation.
For her part Harkness apparently agreed to testify against Jones in exchange for a less severe penalty, however she never appeared. According to the Austin American Statesman, her family reports she has left the country sometime around early April of this year.
