JASON LEFFLER LOOKING FORWARD TO CHALLENGES OF ROAD COURSE RACING

LEFFLER ON WATKINS GLEN INTERNATIONAL

"At this point in the season, it's fun to mix things up and make a switch over to a road course. It allows you to test your skills in another aspect of racing, which is always a nice challenge. I have a lot of confidence in this Great Clips team, especially with the success we saw last season in the Watkins Glen and Montreal events, finishing sixth and seventh, respectively. For me, those were career-best road course finishes and something I was pretty proud of. We are taking that same car, obviously one proven for success, so if I can stay on the track and keep the fenders on, I don't doubt for a second we'll be able to come home with a good, solid finish."

HOME SWEET HOME FOR GREAT CLIPS RACING TEAM MEMBERS

Two members of the No. 38 team are set for a return to their home state this weekend. Pete Bejte, car chief, grew up in Scio, NY, a mere 75 miles from Watkins Glen International. He graduated from Scio Central High School, class of 1995. Shock specialist, Pete Brower, who hails from Lindenhurst, NY, also considers Watkins Glen his home track. Brower has been with Braun Racing since the 2006 season.
