MICHAEL ANNETT, No. 15 Pilot Travel Centers Toyota Camry
What did it mean to earn the first Camry win in the Talladega ARCA race in 2007? "There were a lot of Toyota people there and they were really excited about it and they were telling me about it in victory lane afterwards. They had been successful in the truck series and that was kind of the start of having success in cars and moving that toward the Nationwide Series and the COT (Car of Tomorrow) in Cup. It was cool to get the first one and they have just been making leaps and bounds from there."
JASON LEFFLER, No. 38 Great Clips Toyota Camry
How much do you enjoy restrictor plate races? "The restrictor plate races are a lot of fun but it's definitely not something I would want to do every weekend. Only having three a year makes for a pretty good challenge. During practice, you really want to spend some time figuring out what your car will do and where -- whether you're in the middle, on the inside or on the outside. It's a type of racing where you have to be pretty aggressive, but at the same time you have to be cautious, especially early on. You don't want to be the guy that causes the 20-car pile-up -- 15 laps into the race. On the other hand, when you get to the end of the race it's pretty much a wide open, free-for-all and you have to take chances."
DAVID REUTIMANN, No. 10 Copart Toyota Camry
Are you looking forward to the NNS race at Talladega? "Talladega has not been particularly kind to me over the years, but that isn't to say that I don't enjoy racing there. I have just had some terrible luck, crashes, engine failures -- you name it and I have experienced it. Obviously, I'd like to get that turned around. I'm looking forward to getting back into Braun Racing's No. 10 Camry this weekend. I had a great run with those guys earlier this season in Daytona and I expect more of the same as we head into another restrictor-plate race. We will be running the same car and I can tell you that it was a rocket-ship! We should be a strong contender, not only for the pole, but the win as well! I'd love to give those guys a win and if we could do it here at Talladega, I'd be thrilled."
