What makes you run so well at Texas? "I don't know what the secret has really been, just good race cars. I'm looking forward to getting back there. It's going to be a different tire this time around so not sure what to expect really. We'll see what it has in store for us. I'm looking forward to being able to go out there again and try to go for five in a row -- that would be something pretty neat and hopefully we can get it."
MICHAEL ANNETT, No. 15 Travel Pilot Centers Toyota Camry, Germain Racing
Do you enjoy racing at Texas? "I personally love it. I like any track where you can be fast running up on top or you can be fast on the bottom. It is challenging. There are some big bumps on the center of (turns) one and two that really make the crew chief use his head and get through there and be fast. Any mile-and-half track we go to that is fast and has a ton of throttles is one of my favorite race tracks."
BRENDAN GAUGHAN, No. 62 South Point Casino & Hotel Toyota Camry, Rusty Wallace Racing
How has it been working with Toyota this season? "The Toyota engineers have really worked hard with all of our engineering staff and Brad (Parrott, crew chief) to get us up to speed. We knew it was coming, it was just going to take some time and I expect to run like we did in Phoenix all year long -- this is what we expect. Toyota took RWR (Rusty Wallace Racing) in and this is what they're expecting from us. We plan on doing it every week. You know, I knew the off-road truck guys including Ivan Stewart. I'm very familiar with the Toyota stuff. What's nice is, and it's not a knock on anyone else, they've got engineers creating all this data. Once you get your race car into their data, they can help you. It's just really neat. I've known them and I've always tried to steal, borrow and beg for the Toyota engineering notes."
