STREMME AND WALLACE FAST ON THURSDAY IN TEXAS

FORT WORTH, TX (April 4, 2008)--Continuing on a 2008 trend, Rusty Wallace Racing's No. 66 and No. 64 entries, piloted by Steve Wallace and David Stremme, were both impressive in Thursday's practice for this weekend's NASCAR Nationwide Series O'Reilly 300 at Texas Motor Speedway. Both drivers were unofficially among the top-ten in average lap speed during the session and among the top-11 in best single lap speed.

RWR's No. 64, wheeled by Stremme, unofficially posted the 3rd-best average lap speed on Thursday. Stremme's Atreus Homes & Communities Chevrolet team completed 36 laps in the session. Their best lap of 182.753 MPH occurred on their 8th lap of the session and ranked the No. 64 entry 6th of 44 teams in single lap speeds.

Stremme's teammate, Steve Wallace, piloting the No. 66 Jimmy John's Gourmet Sandwiches Chevrolet, unofficially posted the 9th-best average lap speed of the day. His Harold Holly-led team completed 44 laps on Thursday. Their best lap of 182.211 MPH was their 5th of the session and ranked them 11th in single lap speeds.

The only incident of the day for RWR occurred with approximately 20 minutes remaining in the practice session, when Wallace's No. 66 Chevrolet made minor contact with the turn two retaining wall. The No. 66 suffered only minor damage; the team will remain with their primary car for Saturday's event.
