* Brian Vickers has just two career Nationwide Series starts at Texas Motor Speedway, his first in 2003 and the second in the spring of this season. Vickers had his best start in 2003, when he started from the fifth position and led for 87 laps before a crash took him out of contention. In the series' last stop at the 1.5-mile tri-oval in the spring of this year, Vickers finished sixth after starting 19th.
* This will mark Vickers 12th and final start of the season for Braun Racing. Vickers has led the team to six top-five and eight top-10 finishes, as well as poles at Las Vegas and Lowe's Motor Speedway. He has led laps in five of the 12 races, for a total of 44 laps led.
* In Sprint Cup competition, Vickers has eight starts with an average finish of 23.2 and an average start of 23.5. He has led laps in three of those events for a total of 13 laps led.

This weekend Dollar General will serve as primary sponsor of the No. 10, piloted by Brian Vickers.
Vickers on Texas Motor Speedway
"This is my final Nationwide Series start of the season for Braun Racing and the only thing on my mind is taking this Dollar General team to Victory Lane. Trent Owens (crew chief) and the guys have worked so hard all year and though we have come close on several occasions we just have not been able to close the deal. We are looking to change that this weekend. We have had some great success on these 1.5-mile race tracks this season and we feel that we can take what we have learned season-long and translate it into a win this weekend!"
The No. 10 Dollar General Racing team will unload chassis #37 in the O'Reilly Challenge at Texas Motor Speedway. Chassis #37 has not placed outside of the top-10 in any race this season. Vickers has finishes of fifth (Lowe's), sixth (Texas), fourth (Chicago) and second (Lowe's 2). Denny Hamlin also piloted the chassis to a seventh place finish at Nashville Superspeedway in March.
