#22 Arctic Ice Energy Drink Dodge Qualifies 32nd at Talladega
Talladega, AL -- Reed Sorenson, driver of the #22 Arctic Ice Energy Drink Dodge Charger, qualified 32nd this afternoon for the Aaron's 312 NASCAR Nationwide Series race from Talladega Superspeedway.
The #22 Fitz Motorsports team had to work extremely hard to get the car ready before today's Coors Pole qualifying. This after an on track incident crumpled the back bumper and back right quarter panel of the Arctic Ice Dodge in yesterday's final practice.
The team's difficult task did not hinder their persistence in getting the #22 Arctic Ice Energy Drink Dodge repaired and through NASCAR inspection on time. At the end the qualifying lap was not at the top of the charts, but the Fitz Motorsports team and Reed Sorenson are confident of being able to work their way to the front in tomorrow's race.
"I could see that the guys worked really hard to get the car repaired, and I know that the qualifying lap doesn't represent how well the car will race tomorrow. I believe we'll be able to work the draft pretty well and move our way to the front," said Reed Sorenson, driver of the #22 Arctic Ice Energy Drink Dodge.
