RICKY STENHOUSE, JR. TO MAKE NATIONWIDE SERIES DEBUT THIS WEEKEND AT NASHVILLE SUPERSPEEDWAY

CONCORD, N.C. (April 6, 2009) - Ricky Stenhouse, Jr., will make his NASCAR Nationwide Series debut this weekend at Nashville Superspeedway behind the wheel of the No. 16 CitiFinancial Ford Fusion. The sprint car standout will be led by crew chief Eddie Pardue in his first of seven scheduled races this season.

"I'm really looking forward to this weekend," said Stenhouse, Jr. "I have to thank Jack Roush and everyone at CitiFinancial for giving me this opportunity. I've been hanging out with the guys at the shop and everyone has been great. With the way these cars have been running this year I don't see any reason why we shouldn't be in the top 10 on Saturday."

The Olive Branch, Miss., native ran the full ARCA Re/MAX Series schedule last season, including one start at Nashville Superspeedway in which he started 13th and finished seventh. Stenhouse, Jr. finished fourth in ARCA Re/MAX points, amassing three poles, two wins, 10 top-five and 14 top-10 finishes.

"Ricky is a very talented driver - there's no doubt about that," said Pardue. "He doesn't have a lot of stock car experience but you'd never guess that after talking to him. He's very smart but very willing to learn at the same time. We're all excited to have him in the car. He has a great attitude and if his ARCA record is any indication, we should see some good finishes out of him this year."

Stenhouse, Jr. will also make starts later this season at Nashville, Kentucky, Milwaukee, Gateway, Iowa and Memphis.
