Are you happy with your top-10 finish today? "It was a great run. I feel bad for the guys because we had a great race car in practice, just missed it in qualifying. I just didn't hit my lap and got us starting back in 22nd. We did a good job of keeping on the lead lap and we were in position there at the end. Those guys took four tires, but we were still on our tires so it was pretty tough to keep up with them."
How important is it for your team to get a top-10 finish? "It's huge. We only have 16 races for the season. I think we're in the top-10 in points pretty comfortably now and it just shows what we could do if we had a full budget to go racing."
Do you think this type of finish will help sponsorship for your team? "I sure hope so. Everybody is working really hard. It's a humbling experience to get your butt kicked in Sprint Cup all year so it's nice when you can run in the top-10 and do it consistently. We're doing a lot with a little."
How much did you learn in this race that will help you this year? "Believe it or not I was probably a little bit too patient and then it paid off. I got used up a few times and I was just keeping my cool and then all of a sudden the same guys that were using everybody up were wadded up so it actually worked our pretty well."
JASON LEFFLER, No. 38 Great Clips Toyota Camry, Braun Racing
Finishing Position: 10th
How was your race tonight? "It was alright. Our car was pretty good, but we got wrecked there at the end. It was another good points day."
DAVID GREEN, No. 07 Toyota Camry, SK Motorsports
Finishing Position: 14th
SCOTT LAGASSE JR., No. 11 America's Incredible Pizza Company Toyota Camry, CJM Racing
Finishing Position: 17th
SCOTT SPEED, No. 99 Red Bull Toyota Camry, Michael Waltrip Racing
Finishing Position: 27th
BURNEY LAMAR, No. 32 Dollar General Stores Toyota Camry, Braun Racing
Finishing Position: 28th
MARC DAVIS, No. 36 Howard University WHUR Toyota Camry, Marc Davis Motorsports
Finishing Position: 29th
BRIAN SCOTT, No. 10 Great Clips Toyota Camry, Braun Racing
Finishing Position: 32nd
What happened to take you out of the race? "Somebody got into the 38 (Jason Leffler) coming out of (turn) two and I was side-by-side with Jason Keller. The 38 (Jason Leffler) was just back and forth trying to save it and trying not to hit the wall and I went high and then he went high and then I started to turn back low and he started to go back low. I was trying not to hit him, he had a really good race car. He had a good day going. I got on the brakes to try to turn left to avoid him and got myself sideways doing it and I think still hit the 38 (Jason Leffler), clipped the 29 (Jeff Burton) and the inside wall ruined our day. It's too bad. Everybody on our No. 10 Great Clips Toyota Camry did a really good job. They got me in position in the pit. We fought a tough race car all night, but we were making the best of it. It looked like we had a chance of maybe getting a top-10. We were in the position for the Lucky Dog' and if another caution would've come out we would've got it. Maybe made the most of a semi-decent day."
