LEFFLER ON PHOENIX INTERNATIONAL RACEWAY
"Phoenix is definitely one of my favorite tracks. I have a lot of great memories racing the Copper Classis there as a kid. It's a slick old race track and unique in that both ends are so different and the surface is so wore out. You slide around a lot but obviously, given my background, I like that kind of racing. The Great Clips team always seems to be pretty strong at Phoenix. Of course we go into every race feeling that we can be a contender but we definitely go out there with a little more confidence given our previous performances there."
The No. 38 Great Clips team will unload chassis # 17 in this weekend's Hefty Odor Block 200 at Phoenix International Raceway Leffler last raced chassis #17 two weeks ago at Memphis when he finished 12th. Leffler also drove chassis #17 in Milwaukee, finishing 10th place after starting ninth. This is the same chassis Leffler drove to his second career victory last season at ORP.
