STREMME PACES FINAL PRACTICE IN NASHVILLE
--Steve Wallace Strong, Rounds out Pair of Top-Ten Efforts for Rusty Wallace Racing--

LEBANON, TN (June 6, 2008)--Riding a wave of momentum, Team Atreus Homes & Communities Rusty Wallace Racing driver, David Stremme, continued his climb through the NASCAR Nationwide Series this evening, posting the fastest lap in the final practice session for tomorrow's Federated Auto Parts 300 at Nashville Superspeedway. Stremme and his No. 64 Chevrolet Monte Carlo SS toured the 1.333-mile speedway in 29.984 seconds (160.045 MPH); his fastest lap occurred on the 20th of his 22 laps in the session. The No. 64 team was the only team to post a sub-30-second lap during either of today's two practice sessions.

Noted Stremme, "Our team has so much momentum right now; we've had a lot of top-ten runs over the last few months, including a third-place last week. I feel like we're right there knocking on the door for a win; Dale Ferguson (crew chief) and the guys have given me a car this weekend that could get us there. I'd really love to get one of those guitars!"

Stremme's teammate, driver of the No. 66 Team Atreus Homes & Communities Rusty Wallace Racing Chevrolet, Steve Wallace, showed strength in the session as well. Wallace, the defending pole-winner for the event, ranked eighth fastest of the 40+ drivers taking time. His fastest lap of 30.418 seconds (157.762 MPH) occurred on his 25th-and final-lap of the session.

Said Wallace, "Nashville has always been one of my favorite racetracks. We had a mechanical problem here last time that kept us from running up front, but we've got all of that fixed this time around. We've definitely been on a roll lately and we're right on the edge of being in the top-ten in points. There'd be nothing better than getting a win and cracking the top-ten all in the same day. Harold (Holly, crew chief) and my guys have given me a good car this weekend; we're ready to go get 'em tomorrow."
