David Ragan: No.6 Discount Tire Ford Fusion
Crew Chief: Mike Kelley
Chassis: RK-343 Last ran at Montreal, Aug. '07, finished 19th
Ragan on racing in the Nationwide Series at Circuit Giles Villeneuve:
"I am really focused for this weekend at Montreal. The road course will be a challenge for all of us, but I am well prepared and up for the challenge. We have been doing a lot of testing at various road courses and the laps have helped a great deal. I am confident our program is stronger than ever and I am looking forward to proving it on Saturday afternoon."
Crew chief Mike Kelley on racing at Circuit Giles Villeneuve:
"I enjoy going to this historical, international road course. I believe the course can get the best of a lot of drivers but I feel we are up for the challenge. David's experience from last year should help our effort this year. Any experience on the tough course can make a difference in how well you run. Our goal is to stay on the course and take care of our equipment as best we can. In order to finish well you have to be patient early and have a sound pit strategy. I am confident our Discount Tire team will bring home a strong finish this weekend."
Greg Biffle: No.163M Ford Fusion
Crew Chief: Eddie Pardue
Chassis: RK-488 (last run by Colin Braun in Mexico City)
Biffle on racing at Circuit Gilles Villeneuve:
"I really like road courses and Montreal is no exception. I know the No.163M Ford Fusion will be fast, it's the same car this team sat on the pole with in Mexico City. I'm excited that Colin Braun will be helping us out this weekend setting up the car while I'm in Pocono. I can't think of anyone better to set up a road course car than Colin so I know we'll be good once I get up there. I don't have very many races left in the Nationwide Series car so I really want to run well for these guys and end out our season on a high note."
Crew chief Eddie Pardue on racing at Circuit Gilles Villeneuve:
"We've been looking forward to this race all year. I think Greg is one of the best road course drivers out there. Starting from the back of the field will be tough, but if anyone can get up to the front quickly it's Greg. Colin is as good as it gets on a road course so I know he'll do a great job getting the 3M Ford Fusion ready. This team is coming off of a great run last weekend in Indianapolis so hopefully we can carry some momentum over and get our first win of the year."
Carl Edwards: No.60 CitiFinancial Ford Fusion
Crew Chief: Drew Blickensderfer
Chassis: RK-313 Last ran at Montreal, Aug.07', finished 30th
Edwards on racing at Circuit Giles Villeneuve:
"Last year I got to spend a couple extra days in Montreal and I just love the city. This year I feel like I'm becoming a better road course racer. Our road course program has gotten better with every race and I feel like we are due for a win. It would be great to win at such a historical international road course. I'd love to put our Ford Fusion in Victory Lane for Citifinancial and do my back-flip for all the fans north of the border."
Crew chief Drew Blickensderfer on racing at Circuit Giles Villeneuve:
"The No.60 CitiFinancial team is looking for a good run this weekend in Montreal. We have a good race car and Carl is ready to erase the memory of last year. Our CitiFinancial team is confident we can break through with a win at the tough road course. We have to take what the course gives us and remain patient early in the race. If we can take care of our equipment and be consistent on and off pit road, I think we have a shot at a strong finish."
