NO. 38 GREAT CLIPS TOYOTA PAINT SCHEME DESIGNED BY HEATHER OF ST. JUDE CHILDREN'S RESEARCH HOSPITAL
Jason Leffler's Toyota Camry will have a different look this weekend at Memphis Motorsports Park. As part of the St. Jude's "Design a Dream Program," the paint scheme on the No. 38 was designed by Apopka, FL native, Heather, age 11, a St. Jude Children's Research Hospital patient.
LEFFLER ON MEMPHIS MOTORSPORTS PARK
"Last year's race at Memphis was pretty wild with the number of cautions we saw. This year, I think you will see more of the same and maybe even more given the way the restrictor plate is on these motors and how they have taken gear away from us. Those things have made it tougher to pass and it's going to show this weekend. What it boils down to is that when you exit the corner the guy in front of you isn't slipping his tires because he doesn't have enough horsepower. As a result, everyone just gets in line and at some point someone gets impatient and moves the guy in front of him out of the way."
The No. 38 Great Clips team will unload chassis # 17 in this weekend's Kroger On Track For The Cure 250. Leffler last raced chassis #17 in Milwaukee where he posted a 10th place finish after starting ninth. This is the same chassis Leffler drove to his second career victory last season at ORP.
