MacDonald Motorsports and Hamilton Jr. get hard fought finish in New Hampshire

Loudon, New Hampshire- Bobby Hamilton Jr. and MacDonald Motorsports came home 29th in the Camping World RV 200 at the New Hampshire Motor Speedway.

The MacDonald Motorsports team started the race in the 25th position and it wasn't long till Bobby Hamilton Jr. had the car fighting for a spot within the Top 20. However, on a lap 52 pit stop, al track position gained was lost when the team had a pit road miscue.

As the race wore on, the MacDonald Motorsports team ran into some trouble on lap 107 when Scott Speed got loose in middle of turn 1. While trying to avoid the spinning Scott Speed, Brad Keselowski tapped Bobby sending him spinning to the apron of the track. The damage to the front valance of the car was significant enough to affect the cars handling which hindered the team in gaining positions on the race track for remainder of the event.

"That was an unfortunate deal with Brad," Hamilton Jr. said. "The front valance on the car got damage which made it difficult to make up positions on the race track," Hamilton Jr. continued.

At the end of the day, Bobby brought the D.H. Griffin Dodge home to the 29th position. "We will bounce back next Friday in Daytona," crew chief David Ingram stated. "This team fought hard all day and I can't thank them enough," Ingram continued.

The MacDonald Motorsports team currently sits 22nd in owners point standings only 103 points out of 20th.
