JUSTIN ALLGAIER (No. 12 Verizon Wireless Dodge Charger) Qualified 3rd
"The Verizon Wireless Dodge guys did a great job. The car was good. It's just hot and sunny right now and pretty slick. Unfortunately, we ran the same lap time as Brad Coleman did. I don't think that we had a .47 (30.47 sec.) in us like Joey Logano did. All and all it's been a good weekend for us so far. We had Chris Carrier working the pits for us today. Chad (Walter, crew chief) was at his stepson's graduation. Chris did a great job filling in. Now Chad's here and hopefully we can carry the momentum from the last couple of weeks and a keep our Dodge up front."
BRAD KESELOWSKI (No. 22 Discount Tire Dodge Charger) Qualified 25th
"We've got a really good Discount Tire Dodge Charger for the race tonight, but our qualifying draw kept us from getting a good starting spot. It was just really slick out there. That's pretty typical for the first few cars to go out following the jet dryers. We started in the back last week and still made it to the front. We can do it again."
HOW IMPORTANT IS IT TO GET A PRACTICE SESSION IN WHEN YOU HAVE DOUBLE-DUTY RACE WEEKENDS? "It's important for the race, but not for qualifying. We did good job dialing-in our car for the race later tonight. Our Discount Tire Dodge Charger has been fast in race trim. We thoug1ht that we'd do better in qualifying, but I think our qualifying draw probably hurt us a bit. We'll see how it all works out. I'm comfortable with this team. I feel like we can get up to the front."
