EARLY INCIDENT RUINS KENNY WALLACE'S RAB DEBUT AT DAYTONA

CONCORD, N.C. (Feb. 21, 2011) - A rough end to a promising week left Kenny Wallace with a 28th place finish after being collected in a wreck during the season opening NASCAR Nationwide Series DRIVE4COPD 300 at Daytona International Speedway. Despite being caught in the early incident on lap 25, Wallace and the RAB Racing team rallied, continuing to make repairs on the No. 09 UNOH Toyota Camry throughout Saturday's 120-lap event.

Wallace, a native of St. Louis, Mo., qualified 25th on the 2.5-mile tri-oval track during Friday's qualifying after participating in multiple scheduled practice sessions for the Nationwide Series during the week-long Daytona event.

"Daytona did not turn out the way we wanted it too, but we had a really fast racecar and I have a really good team," Wallace said. "Everything went like clockwork until the field wrecked. I cannot wait to get to Phoenix - that's my type of racing."

After an eventful Nationwide Series race at Daytona featuring 35 lead changes among eight drivers and five cautions, Wallace looks forward to a change of pace and scenery at one of his favorite tracks.

"I love Phoenix," Wallace said. "I love the atmosphere. I love short track racing. I always look forward to racing in Phoenix. I'm really excited to get into an environment that is a little more controlled than the chaos that ensued in Daytona."
