JRM SEASON UPDATE - With only seven races remaining in the 2012 Nationwide Series schedule, the JR Motorsports team tally stands at eight top-five and 17 top-10 finishes. The teams earned one pole and have led 96 combined laps.
BACK IN HER WHEELHOUSE - Patrick’s finishes at 1.5-mile tracks continue to show her knack for racing at intermediate fa-cilities this year. Her season-best finish of eighth came at Texas Motor Speedway in April. Of her 13 top-15 efforts this year, more than half were earned at 1.5-mile tracks. Patrick’s average finish in seven starts at 1.5-mile facilities this season is 12.0.
NO. 7 TEAM CHASSIS INFO - The 7 team brings chassis 746 to Kentucky Speedway this weekend. 746 made its debut at Chicagoland last week with a 12th-place finish.
WHITT DRIVING CHASSIS 626 - The 88 unloads chassis 626 at Kentucky. Whitt piloted 626 in six races this year, earning one top-five and four top-10s with an average finish of 10.0 in those events.

It was disappoint-ing. But I’m confident we’ll run well this weekend. “Bruce (Cook) and I have talked about what needs to be done moving forward. I need to do a better job of understanding the setups between practice and race conditions.
Sometimes what works in one, doesn’t in the other. We always have speed at the mile-and-a-half tracks, so I’m not concerned about that. We need to focus on methodical adjustments during practice.”

“I think it’s safe to say it has been an eventful week for our Go Daddy team, and pretty much everybody at JR Motorsports for that matter.
It’s going to be critical that we keep our focus going into this weekend. We still have seven races left on the schedule and getting solid finishes through the end of the year is important for our team.
“I’m going to do my best to get acclimated with Ryan (Pemberton) this week. I think that will be easier said than done. There’s no doubt it will be challenging and we won’t have a lot of time to do it in.
Chemistry is im-portant for a driver and crew chief, so I’m hopeful we can get adjusted to each other quickly. I don’t know a whole lot about him, but what I do know is that he has a wealth of experience and comes well recommended.”
