WELCOME BACK -- With driver Scott Wimmer stepping out of the Key Motorsports Chevy for two weeks, Aric Almirola gets back behind the wheel of the No. 40 Westerman Companies machine this weekend at O'Reilly Raceway Park. Almirola made his 2009 season debut and first start for Key Motorsports at the Milwaukee Mile last month, scoring an 11th place finish.
WAY BACK WHEN -- Aric Almirola made his second ever start in one of NASCAR's top-3 series at O'Reilly Raceway Park in 2005. Almirola raced the #47 Morgan-Dollar Motorsports truck to a 10th place finish in the NASCAR Camping World Truck series in his ORP debut.
CHASSIS INFORMATION -- Key Motorsports will be utilizing chassis #050 at this weekend's race at O'Reilly Raceway Park. This chassis was raced to a 15th place finish last weekend at Gateway International Raceway.
POINTS UPDATE -- The No. 40 remains 23rd in the owner points after this weekend's 15th place finish at Chicagoland Speedway. Curtis Key's entry now sits 243 points inside the top-30.
ON O'REILLY RACEWAY PARK-- "It's a little bull-ring, flat-out side-by-side racing! It's unlike any other racetrack that we go to on the NASCAR circuit. You can find any line around the place to race and pass guys. Being a short track and being able to run two and three-wide is awesome."
ON RACING AT ORP -- "There's not a bad seat in the house! I wish we could race at ORP more than just once, it's a racers track. You've gotta get up on the wheel and drive. Not that I don't do that every weekend at every track, but ORP is different. It's a different challenge for the driver, but fun at the same time."
ON RACING DOUBLE DUTY - "I can't wait to run back-to-back nights at ORP, running the #15 RedTop Truck for Billy Ballew and then Saturday night in the #40 Westerman Companies car for Key Motorsports! It's a racers dream to run back-to-back nights and especially at ORP!"
