Sam Hornish Jr. has been driving the No. 54 machine for JGR on a part-time basis in 2014.
As Motorsport.com reported last week, Joe Gibbs Racing will hold a press conference tomorrow, discussing their 2015 plans. Sam Hornish Jr. is unsure how he will fit into JGR moving forward.
In an interview with NASCAR's official site, Hornish was unaware that the press conference was even taking place, saying "They've got an announcement on Tuesday? Well, I didn’t know that. I must not be enough in the loop on that."
Hornish came within arm's reach of the 2013 Nationwide Series title before moving over to Gibbs on a part-time basis this year. Together, they won at Iowa a few months ago.
The team is expected to announce Carl Edwards as their fourth driver on the Cup side, while also revealing a deal to put Daniel Suarez in a Nationwide car for an unknown amount of races.
