John Wes Townley:
What does it mean to have a veteran crew chief calling the shots for you this weekend?
"It means a lot to me to have such an experienced crew chief on top of the pit box calling the shots. He has worked with a lot of young rookie drivers, and I have no doubt that he will be a great mentor, leader and asset to me and this team."
You have never been to Auto Club Speedway, what are your thoughts on making your debut there?
"I feel confident about this weekend. I've heard that this track is very similar to Michigan and we raced at Michigan last year in the ARCA RE/MAX Series and did fairly well. I have Brad Parrott's experience at this track to help guide me and I know that the guys back at the shop built me one heck of a race car so I know the ingredients are right to have a great weekend."
