POINTS UPDATE -- Curtis Key's No. 40 remains 23rd in the NNS owner standings after Mike Bliss' 21st place finish at Kansas Speedway. The Key Motorsports Chevrolet is now 341 points ahead of 31st place.
ON AUTO CLUB SPEEDWAY -- "It's a tough track. We struggled the first time out there, and we struggled a little bit at Michigan, which is the sister track to it, but I'm excited to go out there. I think we've learned a lot since those two races to help us run better. It's always a little different race track there in the fall, the temperatures are usually a little bit cooler, so this will be an interesting race. Usually it's a fuel mileage race, it seems like the cars that can get real good fuel mileage do better there, so we're working on that real hard. Hopefully we can go out there and run real strong and get ourselves up a few more positions in the points. We're winding the year down so it would be nice to get some real good luck there."
