San Bernardino County, Calif. (Dec. 17, 2009) -- Danica Patrick, now an official part-time NASCAR driver, will compete in the Stater Bros. 300 at Auto Club Speedway on Feb. 20, 2010. And for only $30, you can see her historical West Coast debut in a stock car.
Patrick announced today that she will run a limited NASCAR Nationwide Series schedule in 2010 -- including a February visit to Auto Club Speedway. The Izod IndyCar Series driver will drive the No. 7 Go Daddy Chevrolet for JR Motorsports and team owners Dale Earnhardt Jr. and Rick Hendrick.
February won't be her first visit to Auto Club Speedway. The then-rookie competed in the IndyCar Series at Auto Club Speedway in 2005. In the IRL TOYOTA Indy 400, Patrick qualified 4th, and finished 18th.
Fans can witness NASCAR history for as low as $30 as general admission tickets for the Saturday NNS event begin at that price point. With free admission for children 12 and under in effect for events on Friday and Saturday of race weekend, race fans can attend the Stater Bros. 300 NNS event on Feb. 20, 2010 for as low as $30 and the West Coast Premiere of NASCAR, Feb. 21, the Sprint Cup Series Auto Club 500 for as low as $35.

Patrick will begin her stock car career at an ARCA Series test at Daytona International Speedway on Dec. 18-20. The plan is to enter Patrick in the ARCA opener in February at Daytona and get approval by NASCAR for the Nationwide opener. She is expected to run around 12 races.
